I have heard these lamentations from the President before. Now Vice has joined him condemning gossips. The questions are “what are these gossips? “Who brings gossips to the Presidents?” It’s those who surround them. And why do they listen to something they know to be gossips? Usually it is state intelligence that spread rumours/gossips. I hope the presidents do not mean that we should stop talking about mismanagement, theft and corruption in their Government. Gossip is a freedom of fools. They use as the cheapest tool to pull down those whom they feel inferiorated to.

When it comes to gossip and destroying others, Malawians have no competitor. We have become so wicked and develish at innuendos. Thanks VP for the speech and I hope we have taken heed.
