Wailing Brothers launches their ‘unfinished project’

After going  into hibernation for years, the Chileka based Wailing Brothers are back in the  music industry  with a heavy punch .

Wailing Brothers

Having lost their mentors, late Elias Chokani and Evison Matafale, the Wailing brothers have proven that death did not rob them everything as their’ Unfinished Project’  album is a living proof.

The fourteen track album which was launched at Robins Park in Blantyre Friday night was graced by hundreds of people who were eager to see what the Wailing Brothers had in stock  for them and everyone who patronized the show went back home satisfied.

Unfinished project is a compilation with messages of love, unity, hope, politics, comfort to the people who are suffering and the experiences  they encounter in our day to day life.

The Wailing brothers have taken on board the talent from the Fumulani Brothers, Moda and Arnold Junior and Toza Matafale.

Some of their greatest track includes; Hungry Tiger, Levi, Mwatero Ndinu, Everything Gonna Be alright,I love my guitar, Tikudukira Munthuyo and Nkhawa bii.

Wailing Brothers  were supported by Lucius Banda with the Zembani Band, Nepman, Lady Fire and Black Agony Band.

The Wailing Brothers  next show will be at Lilongwe Golf Club on February 28, 2016 and then after they will have a similar show in Mzuzu.

Iwe Spider Kid you don’t know history. Black Missionaries came to limelight coz of Wailing Brothers. Chizo and Anjie alimamina lende lende. Akuphunzitzidwa kuyimba. Bola malemu Shaba I can agree he was man and a half interms of talent. Practice makes perfect. With time Wailing Brothers will perfect their lead vocals angoyamba. Don’t be too negative.

If I was Wailing Brothers manager I will put Moda Fumulani as main artist. Ndi yekhayo anayimba zolongosoka ku Robins Park. The wailing Brothers can play the instruments but they cannot sing.
Paul Chokani was better with his Dzuka hit… Koma Takudziwani and Chiku where offtrack and offkey now and then. And it looks like album yi mwapanga za phuma, mukanadekha kaye, trust me plibe nyimbo itatchuke mu album imeneyi. You would have launched Moda’s album kaye ndipo anthu akanakulandirani kwambiri, and you would have used this to promote yourselfs as artists.

Kind Regards.

Was@Robins Park,,the leading vocalist is an insult to live performances,,still have a long way to go to reach the level of Ma Blacks. The bass guitarist has alot to learn as well.

The compilation is perfect but my word of advice is to urge you to work on vocals. Your leading vocalist was off track in a number of songs during that live performance, but on CD all is well you just only need to work extra harder to bend some sentences instead of singing flat in some songs. He need to put a little slang on some words.
