There is always one thing I like with our reporting in Malawi whenever our team looses. It is this the statement “AS Vita Coach, Ibenge Florent admitted that the encounter was tough and Wanderers played well” So all we get are complements that we played well and yet we lost! A cool soothing statement that the losing side keep remembering “we played well although we lost” and so too their supporters say “ timu Ili bwino zinangovuta”

Exposure is important here. It is part of developing football in Malawi. If they participate again next season they will be less nervous and will have stronger mental awareness. Additionally, at a country level, participating in competitions such as these will expose potential national team players to different type of playing football and eventually transfer these skills to the national team. Other teams should consider participating too and should be supported to do so. Hard luck nomads. Don’t be too nomadic with the goals next time, but you certainly have learned one or two things.

Caretaker coach ? Wanderers is not serious. We lost it by not recruiting Pasuwa from Zim. We just lost lots of money. Let’s have elections now!
