This is great stuff, even us the unlearned colleagues have leaent a lesson or too. Keep it up Mr Madise. However, I think the defendant is lacking the Ubunthu philosophy here, and used the unregistered deffendant as a condom! The defendant needs to be taught a lesson or two of th getto! Kungomulembera a ganyu ameneyo, ndalama zonse abweza, plus costs! Nkhani iyi ndi yofunika court ya mu Getto! Compare and contrast as below: Law : no benefit from an illegal act Getto: honour your part of the bargain no matter what the law says otherwise” extreme recovery techniques ”… Read more »

Great stuff indeed, but how about the legality of the sale of the property? I think the judge has judged a case without a complainant. Madise was supossed to judge the case brought to him and let the defendant appeal

Thank you Mr Madise for enlightening majority of us on the issue prevalent amidst us. However, we may need to revisit the fine of K2000.00 or 1 year imprisonment in defiance. My question is: Where is the institution that regulates this business? And why is it… Read more »

All you wrote in this article is the truth and indeed facts. Based on my own understand allow me to say that not all Laws are just and I believe the highest law is the TRUTH. The Constitutional Court must review this law as we all aware that the plentiful acted in good faith and he was just rendering the middle man services which is common in various business transactions.
