So it means that all the people who were on earth before Jesus were perished???

Believe in the word of Christ, be baptized with water and the Holy Spirit , then you can be saved (John 3 :1-8; Acts 2:38). Those with the Holy Spirit are His (Christ) Romans 8:9 and are called children called children of God Romans 8:14. Be steadfast in the doctrine of Christ through the Apostles (Acts 2:42). Their sins be forgiven in the name of Jesus Christ through the Apostles John 20:21-23. Partake in the body and blood of Christ (Holy Communion) John 6 : 51-58; Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:24-26. These are the steps leading to salvation.
