SIM is out of tune, we have by-laws which are put in place by Councils and they are legally binding, osawanamiza anthu ngati musakudziwa.
Demorished to all those shackes in our inner citys its embarrassing us malawian if u can’t afort to build a decent building then u would rather give the land to goverment
Its true we need competent malawi is very small country therefore we need good development and it start by building good housing especiary in the citys. I would like the goverment could take over for this, we are roughened by too many when it come to constructure issues.
Since Parliament is convening soon why are we not asking for its inclusion and be drafted into Law. We get ashamed of the type of buildings we have in Blantyre and Lilongwe, we need a growing city not a rotten city and by any means Indians owning dilapidated buildings must be given a warning and a time frame to improve their structures.
It is just next month to mark one year in power we are watching you, full of promises during campaigns.See my name.
From who are we coppying the models of development. ….legislation is key to any investment…….We should learn not to rush when making decisions on behalf of the million malawians
SIM is a member of the Task Force of the Red Star Campaign. Why not bring the issues to the Task Force or the President instead of issuing Press Releases? For who?
Thumbs up SIM for raising critical facts. if we are to progress let’s have the bill enacted into law rather than presidential verbal pronouncements or orders.
I am also wondering if we have urban physical planners in this country. Why are they not coming up with their stand on the issue? No wonder they are failing us.
