Some are saying it is God punishing Mgeme for insulting Chakwera or the opposition. Some are looking at this accident as the work of the other DPP gurus who do not wish Mgeme well. Others are saying it is because he is an atheist. All these are just wishes of the opposition devils. Accidents are there to remain with us. Mgeme survived an accident and you say God is punishing him. What about Tenthani whose accident resulted into death? God loved him? These comments are the indications that anti-DPP DEVILS will not stop crying for spilt milk. The 2014 loss… Read more »

An accident is an accident, fellow Malawians let’s stop associating people’s accidents to witchcraft or staged accident always.
To my brother Mgeme Kalilani, God loves you brother Mgeme.
But if it is true that you don’t believe in Jesus nor the existence of God, then I plead with you brother Mgeme to immediately change your thinking.
This is God who has saved you from this fatal accident.

Our roads are old and outdated. Motorits need to be very careful with at which speed they travel on. Accidents are a daily occurrences.

Most Malawi roads were designed and constructed in the 70s, 80s and 90s for instance when road design/construction technologies were at their infancy as compared to those of today. For instance today’s design on curves for adequate super-elevation to counter centrifugal forces based on various parameters like speed, curve radius, curve length etc has improved tremendously. Most existing highways here Malawi were designed and constructed to design speeds of 80 km/hr and yet vehicles today operate at speeds exceeding 140 km/hr on an 80 km/hr road. As a result, accidents will invariably happen, notably on curves. I do not subscribe… Read more »
