The league started in July without a sponsor after President Peter Mutharika withdrew his sponsorship for the league and it looked as if the league would to finish without sponsorship next month.

But SRFA chairman Raphael Humba said at a news conference in Blantyre that they have struck a deal with Nsenjerre to pay out all the prizes for both the Premier Division and Division One.

“ After that then we will go into a long term sponsorship. We are thankful to Nsejjerre for the gesture,” said Humba.

The deal’s signing ceremony would be held later this month where Nsejjere directors who are based in America are going to reveal the actual figures of the sponsorship.

Sulom Treasurer, Tiya Somba Banda is the one who facilitated the deal.
