Sheik Kalisinje dies, Radio Islam journo Onile buried
Sheik Abdul Kalisinje who was an executive member of United Democratic Front (UDF)and Radio Islam journalist Abdul Aziz Onile have passed on .
Kalisinje passed on at Seventh Day Adventist Hospital in Blantyre on the night of Tuesday,14th July, 2015.
Until
Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 15th, at Liwonde in Machinga District.
Death also claimed the life of Radio Islam journalist Abdul Aziz Onile who died early hours of Tuesday at Chiradzulu district hospital after a short illness.
Onile was admitted at the hospital Monday last week after he was diagnosed of meningitis.
“His remains were buried this afternoon at Mwima in Balaka district,” one of the Radio Islam staff said.
Several media bodies including Malawi chapter of the Media Institute for Southern Africa and Blantyre Press Club have expressed regrets and sadness.
Condolence messages have been awash in social network over the death of a journalist who was liked by all those who knew him.
He is survived by a wife and children.
