Wanderers invade rural areas, rope in Chande from Bullets
In one way of interacting with their fans in rural areas, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers will invade Machinga district on Thursday where it will play a testing match with Ngokwe United at Ngokwe Football Ground.
The club’s team manager Steve Madeira told Nyasa Times that they thought it wise want to give a chance to their supporters in rural areas to know and interact with players before the 2016 season kicks-off.
He said they also did the same last Sunday, when the team went to Nsanama, where it played Nsanama FC.
The game ended 2-1 in favour of the Nomads.
“As Wanderers we feel it is good to give chance to our fans in rural areas, especially villages to interact with their players rather than just hear their names on the radio during games. This is a chance for people in Machinga to chill with their players,” said Madeira.
He also said they are travelling to Machinga with a strong squad.
For instance, people should expect to see the likes of Jabulani Linje, Jimmy Zakazaka, Foster Namwera, Mike Kaziputa, Kondwani Lufeyo, Genki Nakamura, Ibrahim Sadick, Ernest Tambe.
After the Machinga trip, the team will invade the old capital city, Zomba on Sunday where it will face Zomba United.
Meanwhile, Madeira said preparations for the League are going on the right track and urged their fans to expect more fire from Lali-Lubani.
On another note, the Nomads have signed Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Jaffali Chande after the Peoples team failed to meet his demands for his contract renewal.
According to Bullets general secretary Kelvin Moyo, Chande’s contract will expire in August but transfer rules allow him to sign a pre-contract with any other club six months before a contract expires.
The Nomads have already signed Ernest Tambe and Rafiq Namwera from Wizards FC and Peter Wadabwa from Silver Strikers.

It’ll takes time in malawi for being present at FIFA ranking to a better position”because we do believing and insisting legend players by calling them experience players”.Do we see any improvement in Malawi with that mind. That’s why national team fails, lets remove that mind.
