God’s Will Ministries intends to build a 5,000 seater capacity church at the cost of approximately MK50million. According to the founder of the Ministry, Apostle Enock Frazer Mbewe funds for the construction of the church will be sourced from within the church through contributions and fundraising by its members.

The church which started in 2012 in Area 25 in the capital city has been conducting different crusades where more people have been receiving healing and deliverance.

In an interview, Apostle Enock Frazer Mbewe said, it is by God’s grace that the Ministry has such a big following since its establishment despite that it has been conducting prayers in a rented place in Area 25.

“We have seen the hand of God at work since 2012. We started the ministry without equipment, not even land but people have been contributing money to buy this land which is God’s grace, and this land makes the ministry to be stable and grow because a lot of people will be coming to join it,” said Mbewe.

According to Mbewe, the vision of the church is to preach the Gospel and bring hope to the hopeless. He said the church registered more than 500 members within Lilongwe and has plans to reach all over Malawi to bring salvation.

“Many people have lost hope and our Ministry is here to bring hope to the hopeless all over the nation and to revive souls of people. We are expecting to register more people even outside Lilongwe,” he said.

In his remarks, the founder of Shilo Ministries from Zambia, Bishop Sydney Mulenga who was also the guest of honor at the event said, apart from ground breaking, he believed that it’s time for God to build the church in Malawi.

“There will be lots of things that will be taking place, people will be touched and changed, and their lives will be transformed and healed. As Shilo ministry we work together with Gods Will because we are all after winning souls and bring them to the kingdom of God,” said Mulenga.

Mulenga however said he was overwhelmed by a large crowd of people coming to witness the big event and this proved that the people of Malawi are very friendly.

“This is not the first time for me to come here, I have been coming here for church meetings and I have been very happy to meet people that are warm hearted which truly means I am in the warm heart of Africa,” he said.

Among other things which took place were live music from Lloyd Phiri and God’s will Praise team choir.
