Teenboy cook jailed 3 years for masturbation while touching boss’s daughter during blackout

Second Grade Magistrate in Limbe has  sentenced a 19 year old Samson Mukango to three years imprisonment with hard labour for indecent assault which is contrary to section 137(1) of the penal code.

Prosecutor Sub-inspector Victor Nachuma told the court that on October 20 the victim’s mother went to Monkey bay for a church trip and left her daughters and the convict who was working as a cook at the house.

Nachuma said that on this particular night there was black out and Mukango went to the victim’s bedroom to collect a torch. At this time all the girls were asleep.

Mukango then took advantage of the situation and held the victims head and hands and started masturbating.

He added that when the victim woke up she discovered white substance on her face and hands. She immediately called her mother to let her know the issue and the mother called her brother to find out of what had happened at the house.

The brother rushed to the house and questioned the cook who accepted to have been the one who did the indecent act.

Although Samson pleaded guilty and asked for leniency in his mitigation saying that he had a wife and a child who will suffer in his absence, Second Magistrate Patrick Mwamale convicted and sentenced him to three years imprisonment with hard labour to deter would be offenders

Samson Mukango hails from Mikate Village in the area of Traditional Authority Kapichi in Thyolo.
