TN Stars appoint new management, technical personel 

Kasungu-based Super League outfit TN Stars  has announced new appointments both at management and technical levels.

According to a statement signed by the team’s director responsible for Communications and Operations Wisdom Chimgwede, the changes are part of the process towards commercialization process which  TN Stars Directorate recently started.

“The restructuring process brought changes to the organogram leading to redundancy of the Exco. Further, the Football Association of Malawi appointed Coach Meck Mwase as National team coach,” reads part of the statement.

Mwase has been appointed the Flames coach for a year after a successfully caretaking the team at the Cosafa Cup.

The directorate has appointed Jones Banda as Club Administrator, Khumbo Chipeta as Operations Manager, Chifundo Nyirenda has been appointed as Logistics and Stakeholder Liason Officer.

The technical panel consists of Mike Banda as Technical Advisor with Phillip Nyasulu as Head Coach while Monke Chirwa managing the reserve side as coach.

Chimgwede further said that The Kasungu Boys, as TN Stars are fondly called, will soon have additional personel both at management and technical

TN Stars first season in the top flight league has seen the team participating in Airtel Top 8 tournament, though they finished ninth in the log table  following the suspension of Nyasa Big Bullets.

TN Stars FC and Academy is supported by Matapa Farming Network of Kasungu as its contribution to Sports for Development.
