Bullets show misfiring striker the door — Dustan Banda shipped back to Civo

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have confirmed that misfiring forward Dustan Banda has been shipped back to Civo United on loan — just months after he was drafted in to fire the Malawian giants to glory.

Banda was signed by Bullets in a bid to cure their chronic goal-scoring woes, but the move has proved a flop, with the frontman frozen out and failing to make a single appearance for the club in recent weeks.

The misfiring striker has now been shunted back to Civo for the second half of the 2026/2027 FDH Bank Premiership season — a stunning fall from grace for a player once tipped to solve Bullets’ attacking woes.

The setback comes despite Bullets sitting pretty in second place on the table, boasting 31 points from 15 matches played, as the People’s Team continue their pursuit of silverware without the misfiring frontman in their ranks.
