Mozambican club turn down Bullets
It never rains but pours for Bullets in their fundraising drive after a Mozambican club HC Songo turned down to play friendly games as they tune up for CAF Champions League game against Fombonmi FC of Comoros Island.
Bullets chairman Kondie Msungama was candid to disclose that Songo turned to play against Bullets after failing to agreed on terms with on their expenses.
The Malawi’s CAF flag carried had lined up two friendly games with the Mozambican club in Lilongwe and Blantyre with the aim of raising money.
“We failed to agree on certain terms that’s why the team decided not to come for the games,” Msungama said.
But the outspoken chairman downplayed Songo’s no show saying their alternative friendly game with Red Lions would be just as good.
“We are not worried after all we don’t know how good they are. We have confidence in Red Lions whom we had played another game last week to fine tune for us,” he added.
Last week Bullets settled for a dramatic three-all draw against Red Lions in a dreary match which exposed Bullets’ lack of fitness coming from off-season blues.
Local clubs Mighty Wanderers and Silver also turned down Bullets request for friendly games saying they were yet to assemble a squad coming from off-season

very painful to the team which is for hard competition like this. what I have see to bullets is that it just rush on high position while the team official they didn’t sortout what w’ll happen in future look now. even company it can’t come out to help foolish idea, because it know that it can’t get something good for them but loose.and u must wakeup bullets
