Man convicted for sexual assault of two girls

A man who earlier this month defiled two girls at once has been convicted by Blantyre Magistrates Court.

Issah Rajabu 27, defiled two girls aged 12 and 8 on 19 march,2015 in Chilobwe Township.

He has since pleaded guilty to the charge of Defilement under Section 138 (1) of the Penal Code.

Rajabu, according to details presented in court, defiled the victims after he had asked them to assist with domestic chores.

”On this day (19th March) the victims were on their way to see a friend, and while passing by the accused’s house he invited them in,” police Prosecutor, Sub-inspector Victor Nachuma told the court.

Nachuma added: ”He then asked the victims to assist him with domestic chores since his wife had left after picking a quarrel.”

While in the house Rajabu is said to have locked the door, blindfolded the victims with cloths and started defiling them one after the other.

”After his act, he gave each of them K200 and threatened to kill them if they reveal what happened to anyone. One of the victim’s elder sister spotted them while coming out of the accused’s house, and she reported the issue to her parents.”

The matter was reported to Chilobwe police by the victims’ parents.

And Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital’s medical report confirmed the victims were indeed defiled.

Senior Resident Magistrate, Chikondi Mandala is expected to sentence Rajabu on Thursaday.

Rajabu hails from Mutiyani village T/A Kelembo,Mangochi.

According to the Penal Code defilement under Section 138 (1) attracts a maximum  punishment of death or life imprisonment.

He must face a stiff punishment, he has made the young girls to loose virginity (1)their mind set has been spoiled (2)They will be subject to the community(3) we never know if they are infected or not with HIV or STI’s.(4)Their image has been tarnished that lead to slim chances of getting married when time arise.If it was shariah law this person right away hang to death no stories at all.See my name
