Man pleads guilty to selling woman’s uterus

A 24 year-old man pleaded guilty on Thursday to the charge of selling body tissues.

Charles Nyasulu was arrested when he tried to sell a woman’s uterus at K30,000 to a traditional doctor in Mbayani Township in Blantyre on Wednesday.

Nyasulu admitted to the charge of selling body tissues contrary to Section 16 (a) of Anatomy Act when he appeared before Blantyre
Magistrates’ Court.

Police in Kabula, Blantyre arrested Nyasulu after the traditional doctor Nyanga  Zidana (real name Steven Pensulo) tip-off the
law-enforcers.

Nyasulu is said to have approached to sell Nyanga Zidana a woman’s womb at K30,000.

The court is expected to pass its sentence on Monday 30th March,2015.

Nyasulu is a Mbayani Township resident but hails from Namalima village T/A Chikowi in Zomba.

    2. Zomba was the capital and seat of Malawi. Northerners seared a lot of children there. You have Kumwendas, Ndovis Mandas Gondwes even in Mangochi.Most of the vendors donor know their fathers they are northerners,most of them civil servants. That’s why it is not good to be tribalistic we are one people. If some of the educated northerners did a DNA test with the tenants you will find you are one blood wadada was unfaithful yet did not own responsibility to take his children and send them to school.
