The spirit shown by Ras Chikomeni in the presentation of MEC nomination papers is priceless. Malawi lacks militant personalities who can challenge the oppressive norms which they are subjected to. I am referring to both the illiterate man in the remote area and the posh officer with several post-graduate degrees alike. Malawians are content with being leashed and controlled. Most of them (not me in this case) are good at following. They are content to be fooled by these sons of business moguls who have attended prestigious universities and eaten nothing cheaper than a sausage in their lives but come… Read more »

What? Politics of development are not for narrow and sharrow minded people like Ras Chikomeni. Stop the nosense and all drama. Be serious for once. I dont want nosense and incopetent people. Your mother being running mate? Much as he has some good arguments he has raised such as independent act. But we cant torelate nosense.

Chikomeni should be applauded. He has opened a discussion about the ills of our Politics. Unless the mind set of Malawians of not question the Political Leaders but being led by them like shepherds lead sheep to a slaughter house changes , the Country has no future: The Rich will always get richer at the expense of the poor- this is also true of the mushrooming Pastors and Prophets who are doing exactly the same (enriching themselves) in the name of God. Malawians just follow these Pastors and Prophets without questioning them. What apity!!!!!

Well articulated story the guy chikomeni has a big big message to Malawian people — UNFORTUNATELY Malawians are used to the system of worshipping leaders — Look how Ben – nankhumwa – goodal — and others kneeling /bowing down to Peter like a god (shame) for what instead of kneeling /bowing to my God I should bow to an idol ?
