What does minmising mean? When we still face the same equall blackouts as before. We need a change otherwise the installation and and tariff hike is just a betrayal to Malawians

James Shepherd is another useless person. Don’t hail the government because your parent company has benefited from our poor decisions. In the 21 st century the use of generators by a country is not justified. Our leaders let’s think going solar please.

I second you brother, the problem is that we are being led by analogue leaders who are supposed to be in museums/retired. Our country will only change if it will be ruled by a leader who will be able to think and move with time.

Reverse thinking, As the world is advocating for Green Technology, our Govt is happily embracing the opposite.. The very pple that are complaining the effect of global warming are happily embracing technology that is accelerating it. Yet we are witnessing its effects every year. Escom/Aggreko should declare the carbon emission from the generators and should plant and take care of trees that should be equivalent/more to the emitted carbon. If we have environmental CSO.. then this is your time to act..
