Apostles Mbewe’s vehicle gutted by fire

Cavalry Family Church founder and president Apostle Dr Madilitso Mbewe’s vehicle a Toyota Prado VX was burnt to ashes on Wednesday afternoon at his home in Manja in Malawi’s commercial city of Blantyre.

The incident happened just after his wife, who was driving it, arrived home and had just parked the car registration number NU 9889.

Efforts to rescue the vehicle from getting completely burnt failed.

“That’s my apostle’s car, it was driven by his wife and just when it stopped that’s when the fire broke out.

“They tried to put out the fire but to no avail, we thank God for sparing Mama Mbewe`s life,” a message posted by one CFC faithful on her Facebook wall reads.

Nobody was hurt but the Inferno made a fiery blaze which went along with thick billows of smoke

Well informed sources said the vehicle was a donation from a politician.

This comes barely three weeks when the church’s radio station was also broke into by thieves who swept all radio equipments before they broke into Mbewe’s office.

Sometime I think the Christian God is so very insecure that he (if he has male genitals) let’s bad things to happened them rescue someone so that some home sapien can praise him! The truth is of the apostles wife had died in this accident, Noone would have blamed god for it, but would have said god has called her and she is in a better place. They way this silly reporter has presented this story left alot to be desired, by the way how many cases are you going to report about cars gutted by fire on daily basis throughout the country, and why this incident so special to be reported on media and why trying to explain the source of the car and linking it to the incident?   45. The car was donated by crooks like Changaya , Late Keith Nyahoda and LL church members. They bought the car and surprised him with it. the only reason is that Mbewe fears these crooks and end up not helping them with their problems and so God is not happy with him hence the fire. No politician gave him this car, I was there. I am well informed by a church member who is trashing allegations that the motor vehicle that has been gutted by fire was a donation from a politician rather church members from all calvary Family Churches teamed up to contribute towards the purchase of the vehicle. Apostle Mbewe may have been given a vehicle by a politician but its not the one that has been destroyed.
