The 2018 United Nations world happiness report has shown that Malawi is one of the countries with the least happy...
Because of the way we handle issues of national interest is what making this Nation poorer and underdeveloped comparing to our 4 neighboring countries. We politicize very important issues. We always defend our politicians, if we continue doing the way we are doing and not stand out for the truth this Nation will continue be like this. I think its time we Malawians regardless of our political affiliation start doing things the right way according to what God is telling us through our Church leaders.
A Kachenga poverty is subjective it’s how one feels about it so don’t make a sweeping statement. Secondly Malawians don’t fight their battles God fight for them. Kamuzu oppressed us for a long time but we didn’t take up arms against him. We removed him democratically. We also removed JB democratically. Tell me did we go to the streets when cash gate was exposed? Where were CSOs that time? What did Chakwera do? So you want us to go to the streets now because you hate APM.? The ballot will speak for itself my friend and after all it’s not… Read more »
Kikiki The Bishops and their acolytes are really endowed with deep thinking capabilities: To think that 50+1 would even put a dent in the poverty levels, and the widening gap between the rich and the poor. What solves problems like these is transparency and destruction of gross corruption, abale inu – just check out the persistence of poverty in the few African countries with 50+1. And look at ignorance of the masses, and arrogance of the elected politicians (even at 50+1) as a big part of the problem. And, in the same vein: what has 50+1 got to do with… Read more »
Makhumbo from Nowhere akupangidwa quote daily….Billy Mayaya wasowatu kkkkk
Really Mr Munthali ? Personally I think the opposition made a mistake to agree to share the 4b but to acuse them of being party to the appalling situation the country finds itself is abit unfortunate. Apparently it is the general citizenry that should be blamed for passiveness in a situation where they should be angry. It’s funny how most Malawians expect people to fight their wars. How many times has Chakwera stood up against a wrong without the citizenry supporting him. Sometimes we should be ashamed of criticizing people for making a mistake especially when we remained quiet. The… Read more »

HEARTLESS POLITICIANS WHO OCCUPY DECISION MAKING POSITIONS IN GOVERNMENT ARE LITERALLY DRIVING THIS COUNTRY TO HELL. PRAY MALAWI PRAY FOR LEADERS WHO TRULY FEAR GOD AND CAN/ WILL GOVERN MALAWI WITH GOD’S WISDOM AND COMPLETE SELFLESSNESS.
You are right my brother both side have to be blamed they are all useless they is no one to trust both are thieves thus 2019 new party is getting in to change our buitful Malawi viva DEPECO 2019 boma.
Makhumbo, you are a real commentator. Such unbiasness is rarely. We saw and heard what the pro opposition CSOs did. The heaped all the blame on government. Silly enough they demanded government personalities to either resign or be fired and asked the chief culprit, the leader of opposition, to apologize. This is stupidity of the highest order. The person that deserves to resign and vacate his position is the leader of opposition. He is not fit to be the president of Malawi because after allocated the K20 million he was satisfied and endorsed the expenditure. Mkulu ameneyu akhoza kugulitsa dziko.… Read more »
