Every development from the government comes from tax but it’s the one in charge who is praised. No American president uses his personal money for developments. You are either maintained or removed depending on how u used their taxes. APM didn’t say will use his monies to bring developments. All the manifestos are sold to us on the understanding that we shall entrust someone with our taxes. So APM thanks very much

Nothing to be thankful about. It is our taxes. The money never came from Mutharikarim’s pockets. Stop clapping hands for mediocrity… My heart bleeds.

You started paying tax or your grandfathers or father’s started paying tax so many years ago, why was the road not been taken care off or upgrade to the state which is being done now. . It is time you have to appreciate. The people who are thanking Mutharika are not ordinary like you. For Rev Nyondo to open his mouth and thank Mutharika, it means he has seen it and ppreciated it. Keep on being blind.

During Bakili Muluzi’s presidency, a rural electrification project was diverted from Chitipa to Lillian Patel’s constituency in the achawaland of Mangochi. Atumbuka lost it completely. The Njakwa road has not been diverted. Tumbuka people have all the reasons for being grateful. Only a cool and a silly person would call this mediocrity.

Why thank Mutharika who doesn’t pay tax? Thank Malawians who pay tax coz this is not mutharika’s personal money. The most you can do is to commend him for doing what he’s expected to do

Poor Malawians! I pity us so much. Should we always thank a person for giving us clutches after he has deliberately broken our legs? No need to thank anybody for that road. It’s our tax money. It’s an obligation for govt to undertake these developments. No need to thank Mutharika. Khalidwe la ukape ngati limeneli ndilimene Chilima akukana. That road in the North has been long overdue for 54 years!!! Most development projects in the North have been long overdue for 54 years. Zitukuko zimene zikanabwera kale kale should not be used as campaign tools. Mawa lino akatsegulira Mzuzu –… Read more »
