It was MCP which pushed for Universal fertilizer subsidy during Bingu’s first term .Govt. said its impossible as a compromise ; the Current Fertilizer subsidy was introduced. MCP is the official opposition party and has been for for decades. Its performance as opposition has been very disappointing to say the least. The role of the a main opposition party is to be a voice of reason and to guide the government accordingly. MCP has failed to do so with DPP; which has acted with impunity with which MCP is now accusing it of. Let MCP start sharing the bits and pieces of the plan they have. We know the party has articulated alot of bold issues in Parliament and rallies but we need a clear articulation of the same so that the fake and illusional ideas we hear from the likes of UTM are exposed. I think it’s better UTM if MCP does not win. These thieves in DPP led by a prince of thieves have destroyed our country. Pack up and go dpp. Malawi no longer want you to continue stealing from poor people period.
