We should all thank Peter Mutharika’s sloppiness which ushered UTM. Whatever happens with UTM come next year May, Malawians can only be winners. The entry of UTM into the fray has brought about real politics in Malawi which, I guess MCP, would have been unable to do. DPP arrogance is waning as it can see that there is a new sheriff in town ready to eat its lunch. They can ignore UTM at its peril. DPP and MCP will have to up their ante.
