Hon Chimulilenji is running mate but if DPP wins, he will be vice president a short time and made to resign so that Atupele is appointed in his place. Mutharika knew that if he took Nankhumwa, Msaka or Chaponda as running mate, it was going to be next to impossible to remove them to pave way for Atupele (who is expected to endorse Mutharika very soon)

So guys you are furious that Chimulilenji was part of the audience which cheered up victims of TTC disaster. You wanted Chilima to do that in your wisdom. You don’t even recognize the presence of the line minister. You are not even aware by now things that your Chilima is pre occupied with. Tizawona kumene njiru imeneyo mukafikenayo!!!

I really appreciate the quick response by the government in assisting the victims of Lilongwe TTC following fire that gutted the hostel. However I am wondering as to why Chimulirenji who is the running mate making promises that government will mobilise resources to help the victims. Is he the vice president of this nation to comment like that?

For DPP things like these are a blessing in disguise, they use them for campaign. What was Chikulilenje doing there? selling himself.
