It is very easy for such things to occur at football matches in lower leagues for various reasons. There is too much provocation amongst both players and supporters; and even at times, match officials. Supporters for teams are not separated, which is very dangerous. They may be following shades provided by trees, etc. Referees also play a big part, home teams now believe it is not possible to lose at home, and they will resort to anything should they lose at home.
