Malawians will scream all they want; DPP has created an elaborate and impermeable system designed for looting at a grand scale on the strength of an equally complex law-defying system that protects high level politicians from prosecution. The system is so entrenched in the psyche of politicians that they protect each other irrespective of which party they belong to. A sitting president protects his predecessor by design.
