Who is he? A gospel artist or secular artist? And I hope he has stopped being a Peter Mawanga copycat in this album.

it helps to understand that if Lawi copies Peter Mawanga,then Peter is supposed to be far more popular,unfortunately there are other people who doesnt even know Peter,face the facts bro,Lawi is a king in soul music,,,

Who is he? -He is Lawi. A gospel artist or secular artist? -He’s very multitalented mbuyanga, you can’t understand him. Just take time to listen to his songs. Frankly speaking, this is my first day kumva kuti kuli oyimba ochedwa Peter Mawanga & if u r saying kuti amabela nyimbo za mbale wakoyu nde kuti unamvela kale nyimbo za Lawi. Malawians let’s promote our own artists

very typical of dunderhead malawians who rush to quash a claim even when they dont have any information. When they say lets devalue the currency, kutsutsa as if you are economists…. lets sell the maize, kutsutsa….. export ban on maize, kutsutsa. ban lifted kutsutsa. you claim you have never heard of Mawanga and yet you say Lawi doesnt copy him!! That’s thinking using the lungs! By the way, Mawanga is much famous among the white folks and has graced more international stages than his copycat. The fact remains, Lawi is a Peter Mawanga copycat!! Google, Peter Mawanga’s Zanga Zo Zama, and you’ll appreciate my sentiment. I know Lawi from way back when he used to sing ‘kindergarten’ songs the likes of Amenyere kankhuku, Chineke God. He only switched to afro-jazz in 2011/12.
