Copycat from what Chilima said about developing football by sending young Malawian players to European clubs after developing them locally. This man doesn’t have original ideas to help the country. All this time he had the opportunity to develop sport through sporting associations but he was busy sharing Malawi’s limited wealth with his party friends and now that he needs votes,he is even saying things that he knows he can’t accomplish. Mutharika is not a sporting person, Chilima is.

You promised similar things in 2014 and in this year 2019 we can see that you have failed. You just have to go

There are much greater priorities, Mr President. First things first, please. We need medicine, decent housing, clean water, uninterrupted power supply, good basic education, food availability, etc etc. Sports academies may promote better sportsmen and women, but they don’t win elections!

With all due respect, this man said “I will develop Malawi to European and American levels”. So why does he now wants to send Malawians to Europe and rest of the world? What happened to the development master plan? Why contradiction? Vote, vote, vote !
