This debate on heroes acres is economically unnecessary to our Front – National Front for Protection of Poor. Malawi has other pressing social and economics needs which need our energies. Why not feed the hungry, clothe the poor and heal the sick with resources meant for acres. Yes, they did a good job but we don’t need acres for them. It is a minority of Malawians that need that. Please just stop the nonsense. We know that heroes acre will be full of politicians. The truth is that all politicians Malawi has ever had are the greatest villains. Otherwise we couldn’t have been as poor as we are. To avoid embarrassing ourselves just stop this debate. We don’t want a situation where, for example, when it is DPP in power that time anyone from DPP who dies would be rendered a hero status. Or when it is MCP, UDF etc the same would happen.
