Malawi stars Jessica Mazengera and Swadick to wed
Malawi Queens goal shooter Jessica Mazengera and former Flames goalkeeper Swadick Sanudi are expected to tie the knot in Blantyre on Saturday afternoon.
Mazengera, who also plays for Diamonds, said she excited that she will get married to the love of her life at Kamba Mosque with the reception expected to take place at Niyac Lodge in commercial capital, Blantyre.
Mazengera said she is happy to get a husband.
“This will also improve my career . I am delighted to commit myself to Swadick who has been there for me through and through,” Mazengera said.
Swadick Sanudi is a big name in Malawi football as he played for the national team, the Flames.
Sunudi, formerly Big Bullets goalkeeper was also part of the Flames squad which qualified for Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
Top figures in Malawi football and Netball circles are expected to grace the wedding.
