Why not just get the right amount from Mozambique and close it? Huh!

This is a stop-gap solution to an on-going problem. Really it is no solution at all because money is going out of the country to Zambia instead of being used to develop our own system. The Government is simply showing itself up as a bunch of thickos who cannot think further than tomorrow. Money for renting generators going out to SA, and now more money going out to Zambia. Clueless DPP.

Where are the Zambias generating power from. Is it hydro or thermo? Why can’t we borrow a leaf instead of bringing finished product?

you applaud govt importing electricity from another country instead of having your own effective electricity generation here in Malawi? If Zambia’s variable factors changes this will still affect the end users here , Forex is going to Zambia this is uncalled for, #dumb

Zambia have got mines which needs more energy, they prepared for it sometime back while Malawi’s energy was just stagnated, no improvements were made, we were just depending on water/hydro power. We are destroying chelengedwe and rivers are drying up. Who is to blame here boss?

The best we can do is to bring Zambian Ministers, ZESCO Chief Executive and other technocrats to work in Malawi on behalf of these clueless lazy-bones and send our spent-forces to Zambia for refurbishment. These are the fruits of Quota System
