I would to thank the police and the public for acting swiftly to save lives .

This, however , is pig pointer to the government to put emergencies sservices in place, for example fire fighting , as a town cannon Sustainable run with emergency services.
Going forward, we should at the whole country and put in place appropriate services for protection of people and property.
Patient s and alll vulnerabile groups need protection and failure

It’s a real mess . These incidences point at the weaknesses and we will be happier to read these have been put in place going forward.

I understand there is no fire fighting vehicle for the whole district and the entire eastern region of Mangochi, Machinga, Balaka, Ntcheu, Liwonde, Monkey Bay, yet we have tourist hotels in this area.
And somebody is spending K4 billion on handouts to MPs. Stupid government with upside down priorities. K4 billion can buy fire engines for every district, municipality, and town in Malawi

All in all, thank you Mangochi inhabitants for your help e.g. Stopping fires spreading further. Selfless men who climbed the hospital roof at owners risk. Ndoko kukhalirana kumeneko

If the country was led by Chakhera or Chilima a, Mangochi district should have a fire tender equipment. APM always go to Chikoko Bay but he has no interest in the people of Mangochi. Wake up Malawians, we have no president rather we have a person who isas dull as a wild pig.
