Prayer is an act of showing dependency on God. And “believers” pray to align their will to God’s. Telling people to vote for him isn’t wrong at all, it is the role that should be taken by him as a candidate and anyone who wants to see him rise to power; we don’t trust God and just sit down.

May be people do not understand this gesture. MCP held the prayer to ask God blessing as they embark on this campaign. it was not a national day of prayers. so other parties are equally free to hold theirs that’s if they want to. I wonder some people say wapupuluma mind you campaign period was launched on 19th March 2019 and these prayers were held on 23rd March 2019 days after the launch, so where is the rush?
