MCPand all opposition parties what else do you expect from a MEC with 85.7% DPP members and 14.3% MCP? To me MEC is almost a DPP regional office for elections to DPP and this is why they are talking of a landslide victory in 2019! If Malawi is a multiparty, why should MEC have 6 DPP diehards: Jean Mathanga, Mary Nkosi, Linda Kunje, Elvey Mtafu, Moffat Banda and Jane Ansah representing one party [DPP], MCP with one Killion Mgawi only and nothing and/or nothing for all the other opposition parties. After all have we ever heard anything this year as… Read more »

By all means Akuzike, and Yosefe Mateyo, MEC should reopen all the centres you have mentioned. The only difference is that Kasungu, Salina and Dedza were guinea pigs and the equipment used there found itself in Mozambique.

This is crazy thinking so you mean just because a few people have managed to register than the projected figures then the centres should reopen. The best is to reopen all the centres in Malawi to offer everybody an equal chance to register.

DPP used “the lost-but-found-machine” for a door to door thing you’re talking about in Mozambique! So if they did it, why can’t MCP did it in Kasungu, Salima and Dedza? Ndipo ngati ndi zopanda pake, going by the “lines in between your statements”, why are people worried?

Reopening should be done in Kasungu, Ncheu, Blantyre, Balaka, Neno, Thyolo, Mangochi, Zomba, Mzimba and Nkhata-Bay. These districts have below 80% of registered voters
