    1. A semani, there is nothing like ‘kalipo kalipo’. Are you suggesting that the lightning that struck the two ladies was man-made? I suppose you do not understand the scientific explanation of how lightining is formed and which people are at risk when clouds form! Get facts from those who know instead of trying to blame innocent people. People who think like you are enemies of progress. They think they have answers to all the happenings of the world, even to things they do not understand. My condolences to the bereaved families.

  5. To the former President of the Republic of Malawi and first Democratic President of Malawi and his entire family kindly accept our deep sympathy. Allah gives and takes. We plan but he decides and to him be the glory. May your daughter’s soul RIP.

Dr. Muluzi you did so much for all Malawians and no sane Malawian will forget you and your ever welcoming and joyous face. May you be consoled in the name of Allah. James and Diana Mpata and family.

  9. On behalf of all Malawians living in USA, especially the great state of Texas; With heavy hearts, I would like to convey my deepest condolence to the Father of Democracy, Dr. Muluzi, for untimely death of his daughter. It is so painful when you mourn your kids instead of them mourning you. May God provide maximum comfort to Dr. Muluzi and his entire family. Dr. Muluzi is a noble man owing to the fact that he liberated Malawians from a dictator, Kamuzu. As citizens, we owe him a debt of gratitude for his heroic service as a former president of Malawi.

  10. Sad to see, and witness. RIP fine lady. And sorry to those left and were close to her; especially her children and husband; her mom, dad and brother.
But can we please see, even a small written tribute to the other victim of the deadly lightning, Ms. Busile? Even this website can live up to that expectation, I think.
This would not only be fair; it would also reduce the tendency to ignore the not so famous people in our society. After all, death is an equalizer: even if we do not expect coverage to the extent
    of the former President’s daughter.
