No! to the death penalty. Enough people were hanged, at Zomba, during Kamuzu’s and MCP dictatorship/regime; Kamuzu was always in a rush to hang prisoners, including political prisoners, as if he had a quota to meet! There is no credible, scientific evidence in psychology or criminology to suggest the death penalty is a deterrent. Imprisonment for life is a viable alternative, apa.
