He promises that he will turn Malawi into Europe and he challenges his opponent who claims that he will create 1 million jobs.
it is only an idiot who can buy what APM said about Europe, because Europe is a continent, is not a country. And there are many countries in Europe. I would rather believe in a 1 million job dream that a Malawi turn to Europe dream.
I tend to agree with Rt Hon Chilima that this country can: i) end corruption; ii) create more jobs; iii) invest in strategic investments. Whether the jobs will be 500,000, 1,000,000 or 1,500,000 is not important to me. What is more crucial is the resolve to create those jobs. By the way it is not Chilima personally who will create the jobs. Given his own track record, his gross limitations displayed and which we have all witnessed over the past 4yrs, creating 1 million jobs is impossible.
Look, this DPP-led government is even failing to employ its own trained artisans, teachers, nurses and midwives, doctors, etc. Expecting DPP to create even 50,000 is far-fetched.
