Chaponda removed people from embassies abroad, but filled the vacancies with his own relations such as Kalichero. Parliament staff, allow management to get the best on the market for the jobs. What if most of you are non performers, do you still want to fill the vacancies. If you are good, apply and compete. Management and us the public want an efficient parliament not one full of dead wood. And this starts with good quality human resources. Mudzikaikila?
Reform Commission, Parliament needs reforms. Whatever benefits staff at the national assembly get we respect the rules that were set. However we live in a competitive world, able bodied citizens, Malawians for that mature should secure employment at the National Assembly as long as they qualify for the jobs. I do not see any reason why a JCE holder or an MSCE holder should block an appointment for a qualified individual simply because they want promotions.
