Young man has committed crimes under the Engineers Act. But that is a catch, isn’t it? In a country that completely fails to provide adequate electricity to its people in the 21st century, there would be no morality in prosecuting him. The Queen’s move just proves the shithole state of affairs in our establishment. Bravo young man!

CONGRATS. WHAT A INNOVATION AND A GREAT LOVE FOR YOUR PEOPLE. THERE ARE DEEP LESSON TO BE COPIED BY EACH MALAWI FROM HIM, AND THAT IS PUTTING THE WELFARE OF OTHER AT HEART. NOT BEING DECORATED WITH DEGREES AND ALL THOSE QUALIFICATIONS WITHOUT BEING A SERVICE TO YOUR COUNTRY. BUT KUTILOWASO MUMATHUMBA KUZERA MU TAX TO PAY U FOR DOING NOTHING.

Congratulations Corled. That’s no mean achievement. Graduates with good papers from world renowned universities are failing to supply the country with paid for electricity. Yet like in a fairytale there you are able to power up many homes in Kasangazi off the national grid and presumably with an almost zero hour loadshading. What’s even more surprising is that it is Her Majesty who is able to recognise and encourage this rare achievement while our own His Excellency the state president Professor of Law, the most accomplished president on the continent of Africa appears so oblivious to this young man’s creativity.… Read more »

Well done. Egenco and Escom should learn from this young man and install mini hydro power plants to supply electricity to communities where possible. I believe that as a nation we have adequate human and financial resources to succeed but we don’t priotise the right things as a people and that’s why our country is messed up
