Still too high but good start. How do commercial banks respond? May certainly work better for those with big ngongole.

This is good news indeed but there is need to simplify the message for laymen like me. Is it 400 to 18 or 40% bank rending rate to 18% ?????????? The writer of this article can do justice to many Malawians if he can get simplified message and immediate action by the Reserve Bank towards Banks in Malawi.

Such statements have been said over and over again. I am pessimistic because the inflation rates are always better around tobacco selling season. I am still skeptical.
