Its a welcome development but you should attached to an existing party that would help you in campaigning. Malawi is tired of being fooled, people has to know you, has to see capabilities that you can lead the nation.

Mind you, its not all about having a new president, money or anything related but its all about a good leader, a leader who will be compassionate to his people.

But I have heard about the source of your funding from the UK Indians. So you have decided to join the other liars and pretend that you are going to be different? Even your communication can tell that you are deceiving Malawians. By the way, learn to be coherent and develop a good command of English. To me you are a political amateur. By the way, is this what you agreed with the UK Indians that you will start small before you begin flashing out the money? Remember Malawians no longer vote because of money. Ask Joyce. And I wouldn’t… Read more »

To all political aspirants please consult widely. As much as I am for a fresh face in our political fabric this is definitely not the one. We need a person who is well organized , can articulate their agenda clearly at the minimum and is not all over the place. We are past that, we can do better. Don’t just wake up one morning and think you are going to be the president of Malawi especially our friends in diaspora,, this is an insult to all Malawians

Madam, why don’t you invest your resources into something different other than politics. Think about some tangible projects to develop yourself or your home village. Or get into some kind of business to develop your country. consult widely madam. You can do better than this nosense! Otherwise with your PHD you will end up like the Ntabas, Chaponda, Amayi…..etc, etc….

She is just wasting her time reading for a PhD which she will not benefit from. An educated person should have thought better. Apa ndiye waonetsa umbuli. This will just be another family party like my good friends- late Nyondo from Chitipa. Ask Dr. Chisi, he is back into teaching and I can see this woman also getting into the classroom after her PhD study. Which insane Malawian will make another mistake to support a party led by a woman? Mudzatithawenso kukhala ku America kapena ku Joni mutakombeza Capital Hill?

Joyce Banda messed it up for all women leaders in Malawi. She has left a bitter taste in all Malawians and her running away does not look good for all women who aspire to be leaders,

I agree. In my case and that of my best friend, she left a very sour taste in the manner she handled the border dispute. Up to now I am inwardly seething with anger. Much as it is appreciated that she has the right to form a political party of her choice, it would have been much better had she joined any existing party of her choice. The political scene in Malawi is a monopoly of four political parties, namely, the flamboyant ruling DDP; the black cockerel – MCP; the yellow colour party – UDF; and the victory sign party… Read more »
