Much as I don’t agree with mob justice, I however feel that the police would’ve come out in the open and explain why such rumour are making rounds there. Dismissing them as merely a hoax will not help matters. We do not want to lose more lives. Remember sipafuka Usi popanda moto!

You should be out of your mind to call people from these Districts as mbuzi and agalu. Do you take yourself as smart and superhuman? Sucking of blood is history in repeat. In the early 70s, there were blood suckers in Blantrye in Chimwankhunda, Chilobwe etc whereby they entered the houses through the roof at night when people were suffocated in sleep. This spilled over to populated districts you have mentioned. People were sleeping outside and they warned each other through drumming that triggered everyone to drum after hearing the sound.
