I don’t write to undermine police work but I’m curious every time to hear ‘police acted on a tip’. My question is doesn’t police have intelligence services to help them arrest people entering the city with illegal items? Does it mean that without a tip from people, nobody carrying illegal and dangerous items can not be arrested by police?
