very saddened. how could the hospital discharge the babies while they were still underweights? Didnt the hospital said that the babies will be let to go home once they have attained a minimum weight of of 2.5kg as recommended? Now two are dead then the hospital decides to re admitt the remnant child what is this Malawi? Total carelessness by our health personel at its best. Think if it were you or your relatives. Thats inhumane. the kids needed close supervision at the hospital for up to a month of months kumene.

The matron lacked sense of sereousnes. how come the DHO and all staff including the ward matron accepted to discharge the mother with underweight babies.. this could have been prevented but negligency has contributed to the death of the babies.. Mtsrip

I agree totallu with ‘Bystander’, why were they discharged in that condition? Negligence of duty could be one of the reasons! Who are the DHO and Matrons for the hospital? Total shame

Why were they discharged when they were known to be underweight? That’s fatal negligence on the part of the hospital

I totally agree with u sir. Last week we heard the hospital officials saying they will discharge the children once they reach 2.5kgs. Now we hear they were underweight and discharged. If i was the parent i’d sue the hospital and we all have the proof. This is so bad,instead of helping the kids to live,they helped in killing.
