Wanderers frustrated by Chitipa draw in Karonga: Malawi TNM Super League
Be Forward Wanderers were frustrated to a 0-0 draw against Chitipa United in the TNM Super League on Saturday at newly-build Karonga Stadium.

The Nomads, who are still on the summit table with 51 points, missed alot of scoring chances in the first half.
Twice the Nomads kissed the bar through Isaac Kaliati and Jaffali Chande.
Chitipa did not threaten the Nomads defence which saw their pillar Lucky Malata taken off the field of play through an injury.
Foster Namwela was brought in to fill Malata’s gap as he partnered Harry Nyirenda.
However, Chitipa defended in numbers in a the ‘pack the bus’ strategy ,as they went on to frustrate the Nomads with delaying tactics.
However, there was also drama when a 15 year old boy sat on Chitipa bench to the dismay of spectators especially Wanderers fans.
A section of the fans stormed in the field of play requesting for the boy’s removal on the bench but Chitipa stood adamant.
The boy, who looked confused was believed to be a witchdoctor.
When quizzed why they had a boy on their bench,Chitipa said he was part of technical panel.
Meanwhile, the Nomads have another assignment against Moyale Barracks on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium.
Title favourites should mind the gap with their rivals.
