Civo fan wins K1million in Carlsberg Malawi promotion
Civo United FC fan Newton Chalunda has become the first lucky person in the ‘Carlsberg Win with It Promotion’ after winning K1 million during the first draw held on Friday.
The promotion, which was launched three weeks ago, will see one of the Super League team’s winning K5 million depending on their fans’ participation in the promotion in the grand draw scheduled for June 14.
During the draw 60 other lucky entrants from different clubs won consolation prizes of caps, T-shirts and balls.
In the promotion Carlsberg customers are expected to buy any Carlsberg beer and look for a unique code under the crown cover of the bottle top.
They are required to send the unique code together with their favourite team’s code to specific numbers to enter the competition.
Airtel customers will send the codes to 54040 while TNM customers will send to 4040.
To promote the promotion Carlsberg is holding disco shows across the country.
