New kid on the Malawi gospel music block mAdA says he is set for the launch of his debut album, a launch which will see comeback gospel artist George Mkandawire sharing the stage with the multitalented Lulu.

In an interview with Nyasa Times on Wednesday, mAdA said preparations for the launch at Blantyre’s Robin’s Park have heightened and all the artists have confirmed to be at the launch.

“I have been recording at various studios since 2010. I want to be unique so people feel my gospel touch and feel that is inspired by the greatest book: the Bible,” said mAdA.

The 15-track album was produced by able producers: Lulu, Chris Kele, Ernest Ipanga and Tiwonge Chikusa.

“It covers a number of issues covering Christian living. Being christians, we have to live like Christ. I am planning to take the album to Lilongwe in future,” said mAdA.

The artist started singing at a tender age and his music grew at Chancellor College where he used to perform with the likes of Faith Mussa.

One of the songs hitting the airwaves at the moment is Yafika Nthawi where he features Lulu. The song music video is making turns on several local television stations.
