Kwimbira Mzika was doing Confederation of African Football (CAF) Elite A coaching course underway in Yaunde, Cameroon.

She passed the trials barely a month after a local one in which one of former renowned Fifa woman`s referee Grace Msiska failed for the third consecutive time to fight her way back into the elite ranks.

Her success has placed her in a position to handle the 2015/16 assignments for CAF and Fifa.

In a meassage posted on her Facebook page, Kwimbira was all praise to God for the feat.

“[The]2015/2016 season with CAF & FIFA has just started. By His grace, these ladies have passed fitness test today. The journey continues…Glory be to God,” she said in a message posted on her Face Book Page.

The Malawian top referee made history when she officiated at the Fifa Women’s Football World Cup held in Canada this year.

She also officiated at the Africa Women’s Football Championship in Namibia last year.
