Maskal releases new song ‘The way you are‘
Malawi‘s Afro-R&B crooner, Maskal, has returned with a new song called ‘The way you are’, which goes on the airwaves Thursday and to be launched at Manchester concert in UK on Saturday .
In the new track, Maskal shows off what he does best — serenading the ladies and entire love world.
‘The Way You Are’ is an Afro jazz in which the award-winning vocalist is head over heels with his woman, as he pledges eternal love to his soulmate so that she stays with him.
“I try to give a well balanced, sonic experience to my fans. ‘The way you are‘ is a continuation of my journey, moving forward and giving my fans the best I can give them,” Maskal told Nyasa Times.
The new offering serves as his first single from his third album which is expected to be released later 2014.
The song was produced and recorded in Birmingham, UK, by Zimbabwean-born Sonny Moyo at Africa Translated Records.
“The Way You Are” video is expected to be released before 2013 ending.
Maskal is currently on a tour in the UK, where so far he has had two shows in Birmingham and Nottingham. He will have two more shows in Manchester (on 21st December) and Glasgow, Scotland (on New Year’s Eve).
Currently with two studio albums titled Nthawi (2010) and Umunthu (2012), Maskal will be releasing a number of singles from his third album, whose release date will be announced in the New Year, according to his manager Kimpho Loka.
